Description:

Sedative. Anesthetic. Muscle relaxant. Analgesic.

Formula:

Every 100 ml, it contains:
Xylazine hydrochloride 10 g
Formulation agents q.s.

Indications:

Pre-anesthesia and general anesthesia in combination with ketamine. It is indicated as a sedative before minor procedures (with local anesthesia) and to facilitate handling the animal.

Animal species to which it is intended:

Sport horses.

Administration:

By intravenous or intramuscular route.

Dosage:

Anesthetic: 1.1 ml every 100 k.l.w. (intravenously); 2.2 ml every 100 k.l.w. (intramuscularly). Sedative for colics: 0.2 to 0.5 ml every 100 k.l.w. (intravenously); 0.6 to 1 ml every 100 k.l.w. (intramuscularly).
