External antiparasitic. Anti-screwworm agent.
Formula:
Every 100 ml, it contains:
Spinosad 1 g
Silver sulfadiazine 0.1 g
Formulation agents q.s.
Indications:
It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of cutaneous myiasis (screwworms) caused by larvae of Cochliomyia hominivorax. Silver sulfadiazine offers a bacteriostatic action and, at higher concentrations, it offer a bactericidal action on Streptococcus spp. and Staphylococcus spp.
Animal species to which it is intended:
Cattle, horses, sheep, goats and swine.
Administration:
External use.
Dosage:
Spray the product until the affected area is covered.
