Formula:
Every 100 ml, it contains:
Thioctic acid 0.4 g
Formulation agents q.s.
Indications:
Treatment of liver failure produced by miscellaneous causes, acute and chronic hepatitis, ketosis and meteorism. It is specially indicated for intoxications produced by chemicals (carbon tetrachloride), heavy metals (mercury and lead), medicines, foods, toxic plants, poisons, with or without hepatic involvement.
Animal species to which it is intended:
Cattle, horses, dogs and cats.
Administration:
By subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous route.
Dosage:
Cattle and horses: 5 to 10 ml every 100 k.l.w. Dogs and cats: 1 ml every 4 k.l.w.
Presentation:
Vials containing 100 ml.
